The number expresses an editor's comparative view of public material; it is not a user rating, popularity vote or paid badge. ### Criteria - Built for teams: Assumes several designers and a design system, not a lone creator with a canvas. - Stage owned: Which part of the pipeline it takes over - production, QA, handoff, documentation, or the whole of it. - Accountable review: A named human between the model and anything customers see. - Tool or service: Software your team runs, or a provider who runs it on your behalf. ## The directory 1. Humbleteam - 9.3/10 - installing the whole pipeline inside your existing team. The service entry that reverses the usual direction of travel: rather than sending work out to a vendor, the vendor moves in. For a team with a revenue product and a design system worth defending, this is the shape we would study first. 2. Figma AI - 9.2/10 - the native baseline, before any budget is spent. Where every team should begin, if only because it is already paid for and already open on every screen. 3. Builder.io Fusion - 9.1/10 - generated code that respects an existing design system. The most convincing answer we have seen to the oldest gap in the trade - the space between a finished design and shipped code. 4. Superside - 8.9/10 - external capacity with genuine AI depth behind it. The service entry with the most machinery behind it, bought the traditional way: brief out, work back. 5. Francoise - 8.7/10 - an accessibility gate that blocks rather than advises. A narrow instrument, sharpened well: compliance checking that can physically stop a handoff. 6. zeroheight - 8.6/10 - making the design system legible to humans and machines alike. Unfashionable and indispensable. Agents cannot follow rules nobody wrote down. 7. FigSpecs - 8.4/10 - specs and audit paperwork generated instead of written. A small tool that removes a genuinely tedious job, which is the highest compliment a plugin can earn. 8. Stitch (Google) - 8.2/10 - cheap ideation volume at the earliest stage. Free, fast, and best treated as a sketchbook rather than a factory. 9. Toptal - 8.0/10 - renting a screened senior designer rather than a pipeline. Neither a tool nor a production service but the third thing teams actually buy: a person. Included because every budget conversation about AI capacity eventually prices it against one more screened human. 10. Designity - 7.8/10 - managed creative output with a director attached. The service route at a mid-market price, with an actual person accountable for taste. 11. Monks - 7.6/10 - enterprise programs where design is one strand of many. For when the design team is a department of something much larger, and the something is what needs the AI.
